During my investigation on consistency groups I found some info in the RAID Manager manuals.
I seems/feels we are not using group names or copy groups to group LDEV’s.
It seems the closest link to XP8 consistency groups are this device and copy group functions.
First I thought this device group could make life more easy because one can trigger/fire commands to a group of LDEV’s (create pair, delete pair, suspend pair,…).
But what about the possible link to SRM/SRA . Some gains to be made there by other setup ?
More info available concerning group names or copy groups versus SRM (protection groups ?).
