Enabling Digital Business with SAP
By Joyce Swanke,
CFPIM, Six Sigma Black Belt, Sr. Business Architect, Customer Innovation & Digital Platform
We have seen the impact of digital technologies on our daily lives in so many ways, not least our use of mobile phones. Just 10 years ago, the idea that we would be spending hours every day looking at our phones would have seemed baffling, but thatโs what weโre now doing.
In the same way that our relationship with our phones has transformed, digital technologies are also transforming the business landscape. According to a recent survey by Forrester, โSome 89% of executives believe digital will disrupt their business in the next 12 months.โ And yet only 15% of CEOs are executing on a digital strategy. For those that are executing, they are already seeing competitive advantage: 9%+ revenue creation, 26%+ impact to profitability, and 12%+ market valuation (Source: MIT Sloan and Capgemini, 2013).
Customers Transforming with SAP
In many cases the best examples of success in digital transformation are where the traditional lines separating industries are blurring. Companies like Kaeser Compressors are changing their business models, and others like Under Armour, Facebook, and Uber are redefining categories.
In our session โEnabling digital business with SAPโ we will explore these changes, and how customers are already using SAPโs digital enterprise platform to redefine their industries and get ahead of their competitive. The session will be held at HPE Discover 2016 in Las Vegas TODAY - Tuesday, June 7 - from 12:00 p.m. โ 12:30 p.m. in Theater 4. If you will be at Discover, I invite you to join me for this journey of discovery.
