One of the challenges of edge computing is finding enough of the right people to be able to deploy complex compute solutions. IoT requires many more devices than a standard server deployment. Also, the locations where people want to deploy edge computing solutions are less than ideal.
There are two ways to solve the people challenge, either hire more IT experts or make deployment easier.
At HPE Discover, Jake Ludington talked to principal design engineer Geoff Lyon of Hewlett Packard Labs explains one possible solution for simplifying the way devices at the edge are provisioned.
