Re: Interprocess communication problem

Hello,
i have downloaded the following patches :
DPWIN_00329(CORE PACKET)
DPWIN_00328(CELL CONSOLE PACKET)
DPWIN_00288(CELL SERVER PACKET)
DPWIN_00327(DISK AGENT PACKET)
DPWIN_00325(MEDIA AGENT PACKET)

do you reccomend to apply all of them , or just the core packet patch ?

Re: Interprocess communication problem

Hello,

in the patch installation instructions there is the following section :

"If the patch is installed on the Installation Server system, then the clients except Cell Manager need to be upgraded using the Upgrade Client button in the GUI in order to apply the patch."

i have tried to search for the Upgrade Client button but i couldnt find it.

any idea about this??

Thanks a lot

Re: Interprocess communication problem

On your install server right click on the server you want to upgrade (shown in the "Clients" area) and select "Upgrade...". You should upgrade/patch your install server first though. Makes it a bit easier. Another way is to simply copy the patches to the target Windows box and install from there. Do "Core" first then the others.
