Introducing Hewlett Packard Enterprise Remote Proctored Exams
Until today, sitting an HPE0 (or HP0) required driving or flying to your closest Pearson VUE test center. For some people, this can be very expensive. I have spoken with people who flew between two and eight hours, stayed in a hotel Sunday night, and sat the exam the following morning, flying home hours later. Your two hundred dollar proctored exam just cost your company a minimum of one thousand dollars.
Online proctored (OP) exams allow you to conveniently and easily take an exam in the comfort of your home or office while being monitored by an off-site proctor. Please note, you must schedule your exam 24 hours prior to registration.
Candidate Experience
Watch this four-minute video to learn more about Pearson VUE's Online Proctored candidate experience:
Before you Register
Online proctored exams have specific technical, system, environment, and testing protocol requirements which have to be met to take an exam successfully. Go over them before you register for your exam to make sure that your system is ready when the actual exam time comes.
If you purchase an online proctored exam and your computer equipment does not meet the requirements, you are unlikely to receive a refund. If your computer does not meet these requirements, please register to take the exam at a test center.
System Requirements
Pearson VUE has a complete list of system requirements. Please carefully review them before you register for an exam. For example, Mac OSX is not supported at this time. Additionally, online proctored exams may not run or suddenly stop working if you are using Proxy Servers.
Run system test and exam simulation
Download and run the system test from the same computer and location you will be testing from. The system test will simulate the exam experience and verify whether your system can run the online proctored software. The test includes a webcam, microphone and internet connection check. You will also take a one question exam that will test the secured browser connection. Note that the secured browser will take up your whole screen. This process will take approximately 5 minutes.
Register today for our introductory offer of $200USD. This offer expires December 15, 2016.
What benefits/advantages have you found or anticipate by sitting an online proctored exam?
