How did you get started?
“I began my tech career in 1999, through an internship in technical school. I have been working in the channel since 2007. Initially, I worked for five years in a second tier channel, then worked for four years at a distributor. Today I´m with a first tier channel provider, providing the pre-sales work for HPE's line of servers, storage, and backup.”
What is your favorite HPE technology?
“My two favorite HPE products provide great security to customers; the HPE Blade server and HPE 3PAR Storage solution. These two technologies working together have brought greater efficiency in data processing, high availability, and features that provide great results to our customers' business. I´m preparing to learn more about the HPE Synergy and Hyper-Converged solutions, which in a short time will be the main solutions in the market.”
Any interesting customer stories you would like to share?
“I have a client that needed to increase the performance of what had previously been implemented. I demonstrated the features of HPE 3PAR Storage solution, and the benefits it would provide to the customer. Another important element to the solution was HPE’s sizing tools which deliver more precision in sizing with: performance, high availability and providing more security to customers.”
What are the benefits of being a Master ASE?
“The HPE Master ASE certification brought for me great knowledge and has provided me a lot of the recognition from my employer, Digital Work. When I present to clients, they have more confidence in the projects and a better understanding of each line of products.
“I recommend all technology professionals obtain certifications because it will provide greater value to our areas of expertise.”
Any tips for others interested in HPE certifications?
“My tip for professionals in this area is to delve deeper into these certifications. Increased knowledge will help provide better projects results, help grow your career, and will bring recognition from your employer, HPE, and customers.”
