Employee Appreciation Day

HPE understands that our employees and their actions, partnership and innovation are the key to our success.

Throughout the month of April we are celebrating our employees with Employee Appreciation Day events in 50 countries at 114 sites throughout the globe, including online activities for our remote employees.
Our goal is to ensure all of employees feel special and appreciated through the fun programs planned for throughout the day by our leaders and sites.

Highlights of the day include:
• Personal experiences, such as executives greeting employees as they arrive
• Photo booths
• Recognition opportunities
• SWAG
• Raffles
• AND so much more

One of our first events was held in Thailand on April 5th. The theme of their program was, “The Power of Thanks and Appreciated for your support.” Each employee received two flowers. One for themselves and the other to give to an employee they wanted to say thank you to.

In Singapore on April 11th, employees learned that, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel.” – Maya Angelou. Their day was filled with fun activities and giveaways to make them feel appreciated. Highlights included delicious bubble tree and ice cream.

On April 19th, Japan held their Employee Appreciation Day. Their theme was “Learning and Expressing Appreciation”. Highlights of the day included an inspirational session, “Let’s Appreciate” by a Clinical Psychologist. Employees filled an appreciation board celebrating each other.

Employee Appreciation Day Malaysia

HPE Malaysia celebrated on April 24th. Employees created a tree of recognition, customized with leaves sharing appreciation for others. They had a photo booth amongst other activities.

Most of our sites will be celebrating on April 30th, which is also the Grand Opening of our new Corporate Headquarters. Events planned at HQ include refreshments, games, a DJ, F1 car simulators, visits from sports celebrities, and so much more.

We are encouraging our employees to share their favorite moments of the day and take the time to recognize and appreciate those they partner with each day that make a difference.  We will be sharing pictures of our celebrations and encourage our employees to share their favorite moments of the day using the hashtags #hpethanks and #hpecelebratingyou.
