Global Remarketing Manager Jack Cole finds a new home for legacy IT hardware
Since the beginning, HPE has advanced the way people live and work by creating innovative technology at the heart of successful organizations and communities all over the world. We invite you inside our careers and culture through stories of the people who power HPE—our team members.
Jack Cole, Global Remarketing Manager, shares how his past shaped his current career, what excites him most about the future, and his advice for those interested in a career in technology.
Jack’s HPE career journey
Living in Singapore, Jack began his HPE career five years ago. Previously, he managed all Intel product lines for a Singapore-based global, sustainable IT Solutions provider.
He started working for the IT industry as an Intern in the United States, working his way up from the warehouse, engineering lab, inside sales, and finally a global sales rep. Jack moved to Singapore in 2016 with his previous company to start up an enterprise hardware team, then stayed to work for HPE. He is still well-informed in the enterprise hardware market and utilizes market news and trends to position HPE as the best asset-managing specialists in the industry.

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give to someone interested in your field?
A: I would recommend being endlessly curious to understand more in your particular field. Being a specialist, a professional, someone knowing and willing to share expertise, is of high value and is greatly appreciated by colleagues and customers. Knowledge is power.
