- HP ATP - FlexNetwork Solutions V3.
- HP ASE - FlexNetwork Architect V2
- HPE Master ASE - FlexNetwork Solutions V2
Steps to acquire an HPE Certification
Before you get started, please review this checklist before you start your certification journey. This includes how to obtain your HPE Learner ID and PearsonVue ID.
HP ATP - FlexNetwork Solutions V3
This certification validates that you have the networking skills necessary for modern, industry standard based networking technologies and solutions. It validates you can design, implement and manage the modern network, based on the HPE FlexNetwork Architecture, for small to mid-size businesses. It also verifies that you understand the latest converged infrastructure strategy including network virtualization with HPE’s Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF).
This certification validates that you can do the following:
- Successfully perform basic configuration, access security and switch setup on HPE switches
- Configure Layer 2 technologies such as STP, Link Aggregation and VLANs
- Configure basic IP Routing with static and dynamic routing technologies (OSPF)
- Provide mobility solutions with the MSM wireless Access Points
- Manage and monitor Networks with HP IMC network management software

- To position yourself as a trusted team member who can contribute to the design, deployment and management of the latest integrated HP's Converged Infrastructure and the HP FlexNetwork Architecture for modern data centers

Typical candidates for this certification are networking IT professionals with at least six months or more of experience deploying network solutions in small to medium size business environments.

Who should take this exam?
You should be an IT professional with at least six months experience deploying small to medium enterprise level networks with an understanding of wired technologies used in edge and simple core environments and fundamental knowledge of wireless technologies,
HPE ATP exams are test center proctored exams and delivered by Pearson VUE.
Please Note:
You will receive an email notification 3-5 days after successfully completing all requirements. In addition, your status in The Learning Center will change to "acquired". Track your training and certification progress through your transcripts in The Learning Center.
Training is highly recommended, as it will help prepare you for the exams and increase your chances of passing. Training is generally not required, except for certain software certifications
HPE HP ASE - FlexNetwork Architect V2
This certification verifies that you can successfully architect and design complex, enterprise level networks with integrated wired and wireless solutions. It validates that you can use open industry standards to accomplish the following:
- Design network architectures for traditional, Cloud and Converged Infrastructure environments
- Plan for and support today's bandwidth intensive, delay sensitive, server-to-server traffic
- Prepare your network for innovations in cloud services, security, OpenFlow and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)
- Integrate networking elements as well as servers and storage network-related components
In addition, this certification also validates your expertise in one of four electives. Candidates choose from: HPE MSM (Multi-service Mobility) Wireless, Unified Wired-Wireless Networks and BYOD, Software-defined Networks, or HPE FlexFabric Data Centers. The HP MSM Wireless course and exam are available now. Additional electives will become available later in 2014.
