HPE Kazakhstan partnering with International Business Women Association
Kazakhstan’s Managing Director, Dana Altybayeva signed the HPE partnership with the International Business Women Association (IBWA) and was a guest speaker at the Global Summit World Conference where she shared how IT can make a change for business and create business opportunities for many.
HPE Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan participated in the International Business Women Conference Summit on the 30th of August 2017 in Astana. The theme of this years summit was, “New opportunities in the development of women entrepreneurship”.

Over 200 business women from around the world attended the event representing a number of different industries and business sizes from small to multinational corporations. The summit served as an effective platform for business women to share their experience, the challenges they face as well as find new opportunities for growth and development.

Special guests to the event included the most influential woman in Kazakhstan, Senator Dariga Nazarbayeva. The senator has been a patron of the IBWA for 20 years.
In addition to Senator Dariga Nazabayeva, a number of other influential business women from around the world addressed the conference.

HPE Kazakhstan was a partner of the conference and I was invited as a guest speaker to share our experience and how IT can make a change for business and provide business opportunities for many.
Summary:
- Participation in this event is one of a series of activities that helps HPE to strengthen our image and perception in Kazakhstan. We had massive mass media outreach surrounding this event.
- Position HPE as a trusted advisor and leader to our customers and partners. As a result of participation in this conference, HPE received many inquiries and positive feedback.
- Ensure sustainable business growth and market share.

Dana Altybayeva
Dana Altybayeva is the Managing Director of HPE Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan since Feb 2017. Before joining HPE, Dana was leading Microsoft business in Kazakhstan and enterprise Microsoft business in 9 countries (Central Asia countries, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Armenia).
Out of 20 years of working experience she spent 12 years with Microsoft handling Business Marketing Organization lead position, Government relationship and PS director, growth lead positions. Dana was awarded two times with the Circle of excellence award (Platinum in 2015, Gold in 2012). Prior to IT Dana held various marketing and brand management positions in American and Japan Tobacco companies.
Dana holds a Master Degree from Almaty state university, international relations faculty.
