HPE Offers Returnships via Career Reboot Program, in Partnership with Path Forward
Earlier this year, Path Forward was delighted to learn that HPE would be launching a return to work program as part of their “Work that Fits Your Life” initiative. Today, we are excited to announce that returnships are now available at HPE through their new Career Reboot program. The 12-week returnships will begin in September and will include online training to refresh technical knowledge and mentorship programs at HPE, as well as professional development support through Path Forward. The Career Reboot job opportunities are available in HPE’s San Jose, CA, Santa Clara, CA, Houston, TX and Plano, TX offices and are open to those with five or more years of experience and who were away from the workforce for a minimum of one year.
To introduce potential participants to the program, Path Forward will be holding several free Career Restart Seminars in cities where HPE’s returnships are available. HPE participated in Path Forward’s San Francisco event on July 17th and will be hosting an event at HPE’s offices in Plano, TX on July 31st from 1 to 3 PM. Attendees will learn about returnships and get advice on how to apply from the Path Forward team, hear from the local team at HPE about the opportunities they have available, and network with recruiters, hiring managers, and other returning caregivers. If you’re interested in attending the event, please click here to register.
The Career Reboot program is part of HPE’s “Work that Fits Your Life” initiative, which includes enhanced family leave, parental and retirement transition support, wellness days, and of course, the returnship program.
“Work That Fits Your Life centers on life outside of work, so our people can focus on what matters most to them at different times in their lives—whether they’re growing their family, reentering the workforce, or nearing retirement,” said Alan May, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at HPE. “With this program, HPE is leading the way in workplace flexibility, family leave, and returnships.”
“We are proud to support HPE in the launch and implementation of their Career Reboot program,” says Path Forward Executive Director Tami Forman. “HPE has tremendous focus on workplace flexibility and the Career Reboot program is a key way for them to show that they are supporting their employees through every off-ramp and on-ramp to and from the workforce. By welcoming returners into their ranks, HPE is not only tapping into a valuable talent pool but also signalling to their current and future employees that they value and support them at every stage of their lives.”
In addition to the U.S. opportunities, the Career Reboot program will also be launching in India later this summer, with details to be announced.
