Kicking off Hispanic Heritage month!
At HPE, we recognize and celebrate each year with our team members around the world. Led by our Juntos Employee Resource Group, team members are planning a series of activities aligned to our theme for this year’s celebration, “Together we go higher.”
We encourage team members to never stop raising the bar, for themselves or for your team. Instead of “How high can you go?” the question is simply, “Can you go higher? Can you bring someone with you along the way?”
The month has kicked off with a series of internal communications and an HPE Gives matching campaign running until the end of October in partnership with UnidosUS, HPE Foundation, and external ERG’s through our collaboration with Unidos ERG collaborative.
To understand how this HPE resource group will celebrate, here’s a quick recap:
- On September 16th, team members participated on - Latinas in Tech Recruiting Event (HPE/Juntos Sponsor). Helping to bring awareness and promote career opportunities for Latinas in Tech.
- In late September, team members will enjoy a virtual Culinary Experience with Chase Center (HPE/Juntos and Golden State Warriors Fuerza ERG)
- Culminating in mid-October, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations will feature our signature event “Together we go higher” on October 13 at 4 p.m. CT / 9 p.m. GMT. Juntos will host a moderated panel discussion on climbing the ladder of success, the value of mentorship and teamwork, and their thoughts on empowering younger generations. Following the panel discussion, our speakers will take live questions from the audience. Panelists include:
Tarek Robbiati, CFO, HPE and Exec Sponsor of Juntos
Laurice Ramirez, VP, HPE Storage HR
Juan Toscano-Anderson, Golden State Warriors
Cid Wilson, President & CEO of HACR (Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility)
Stay tuned for more:
