Sabana Yasmeen, Backlog Management Operations Support, has built a 13+ year career improving our Fulfilment Operations to deliver products to HPE customers and partners around the globe.
Sabana’s HPE career journey
Sabana Yasmeen serves as People Leader within our Fulfilment Operations in India. She began her career as an order processor and moved on to be a subject matter expert and provided support in supply chain testing for our European emergency response plan. She also trained other team members and became Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Through these experiences, Sabana has helped the team deliver process improvement projects and streamline operations across EMEA.
Today, Sabana leads a team responsible for backlog management operations support in shipping HPE products to our customers and partners around the globe.
Team member straight talk
Q: What gets you most excited for the future?
A: Technology – and our company – are constantly evolving so the way we deliver our products must evolve as well. I’ve been involved in many process improvement and automation projects. Now I’m excited to continue to streamline our operations to ensure superior experiences to our customers.
Q: How do you redefine what’s next in your career?
A: I’ve spent 13 years in supply chain management and have worked in a variety of roles from order processor, process lead, and process trainer to SME. I attained my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and became a people leader a few years ago. My focus now is on helping us move towards stabilizing our fulfillment platform to further improve our customers’ experiences.
Q: What piece of advice would you give to someone interested in your field?
A: Consistency is the key. Show up every day to deliver your best and demonstrate regular progress in your work. Once others recognize that you are reliable, more opportunities will come on your way.
