At Discover, Jake Ludington interviewed Tom Bradicich, head of the new IOT and edge lab and COE, about operational technology on the edge. 

Operational technology includes data acquisition systems, control systems, and industrial networks found at the edge of most organizations. These devices capture, analyze, and take action in real time without needing to send all the captured data back to a central repository to action.
