A multidimensional universe
HPE GreenLake is not a single thing. It’s a multidimensional universe, the cloud that comes to you wherever your apps and data live. It is widely recognized by the market as a key differentiator for HPE—the edge-to-cloud platform as-a-service company. And it’s only going to get better.
HPE has announced updates to our HPE GreenLake cloud services business and delivery model:
- A new unified GreenLake Cloud Platform where all of our edge-to-cloud services will be delivered as-a-service.
- Centralized software teams focused on delivering services that seamlessly integrate with the unified HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform.
- A new business group to drive HPE GreenLake to market with the HPE direct sales force and channel partners to help our customers adopt new consumption models.
- Support for HPE GreenLake Specialists through HPE Pointnext Advisory & Professional Services and HPE GreenLake Management Services.
- Two new company-wide teams responsible for running the cloud platforms, services, security functions, and operations across HPE as-a-service offerings.
The strength of the ecosystem
HPE GreenLake success is built on the strength of our ecosystem of partners and alliances, delivering customer business outcomes with an as-a-service model. And one of the strongest HPE alliance relationships is with VMware®, a partner for more than 20 years. Let’s take a look at where we are today.
Accelerating time to value
Within HPE GreenLake, VMware Cloud Foundation and HPE Synergy are the only software-defined solution on modular infrastructure to run enterprise applications—traditional or containerized—in cloud environments. This accelerates time to value with an integrated platform that allows customers to compose and recompose resources dynamically to meet their workloads.
Now, the promise of the software-defined data center has come to life, improving both the value and business outcomes our customers experience in a pay-per-use solution with visibility into usage.
VDI with cloud simplicity and flexibility
Are you adopting virtual desktop infrastructures for the first time? Or is your legacy VDI environment challenged by increasing user and application demands? Either way, HPE GreenLake can deliver the security, performance, and compliance of an on-premises VDI solution with the simplicity and flexibility of the cloud.
VDI from HPE and VMware offers an end-to-end solution based on the best-managed and virtualization-ready HPE SimpliVity solutions. With HPE GreenLake, we manage the complexity and do the heavy lifting, delivering a VDI platform as a service with a cloud-like experience and pay-per-use model.
Helping customers achieve their business and IT goals
As the world of IT has evolved over the years, so has the strong technical partnership and market presence of HPE and VMWare. Now—in the ever-evolving HPE GreenLake universe—we continue to drive technology innovations and future solutions to help our customers achieve their business and IT goals.
