GDPR. Are your customers ready?

With 720 million hack attempts every 24 hours worldwide¹, and companies losing $9 million, on average, each year due to cybercrime², security needs to be top of mind when thinking about server infrastructure!

In response to these growing cyber threats, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) –one of the main trending topics during recent events such as the HPE Global Partner Summit and Microsoft Inspire—was developed to strengthen and standardize data privacy protections for residents of the European Union (EU).

The GDPR went into effect May 2018 and is meant as a replacement for the European Data Protection Directive, which was created in 1995 and represents the last major EU legislation regarding personal data privacy.
