HPE joins the Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Provider program
This is a good day for our HPE family: HPE has been awarded entry to the Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP) program. This is an accomplishment for us because the Microsoft Azure Expert MSP certification requires proven customer success, advanced cloud engineering, and strong migration and operations capability. This demonstrates to our partners and customers that HPE, with our deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, a comprehensive cloud services portfolio, and HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud delivering Azure as a managed service, can deliver a full range of services for Azure. We couldnโt be prouder.
People, processes and technical capabilities are rigorously audited and a select number of partners globally are awarded the Microsoft Azure Expert MSP accreditation. HPE set out a clear strategy for its hybrid cloud solutions 3 years ago and has since made big investments through its HPE Pointnext Services division with capability to advise, migrate and run our customersโ cloud estates. This certification is a further demonstration of our leadership in the services space: the completeness of our end to end hybrid cloud capabilities, our strong partnership with Microsoft and our skilled workforce is what makes HPE Pointnext Services a clear leader to plan, design, implement and run Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud solutions.
For us, advising and migrating customers on their cloud usage starts with the HPE Right Mix Advisor, a service designed to help customers identify the right mix of public and private clouds for their workloads. We use tooling and expertise to help our customers understand platform destinations for each application based on each applicationโs needs for agility, performance, security and cost at any given point in time. Once migrated, HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud delivers a managed cloud environment for the customersโ public and private clouds that automates cloud operations, with help to manage and optimize performance, cost, security, and compliance. Since cloud skills and staff are hard to find, many customers require the help of a Managed Service Provider (MSP) like HPE for the ongoing success of their clouds.
โMicrosoft and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have been working together for over 30 years, drawing upon our respective innovation and expertise to create solutions that reduce customersโ risk and propel businesses further, fasterโ, said Gavriella Schuster, CVP, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft. โWe are really excited to announce that Hewlett Packard Enterprise has now achieved the Microsoft Azure Expert MSP status for Hybrid Cloud Services โ joining Microsoftโs worldwide Azure Expert MSP programโ.
For Microsoft Azure Stack customers, HPE GreenLake brings the consumption experience to their on premises infrastructure โ usage-based cost, rapid scalability, and one vendor for support, billing and management for the HPE ProLiant for Azure Stack and Azure services. With HPE as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), our customers receive one monthly consumption-based bill for cloud usage and support services. This means that there are no multi-year agreements requirement for licensing, no upfront commitment for Azure subscription purchases, a single bill for consumption and support, and a single partner that can deploy, license, advise, manage and support the entire Azure estate.
As announced at HPE Discover 2019, HPE will shift its business model to โas a Serviceโ in everything we sell in 3 years. Our customers are asking us to support their hybrid journey by being their consumption partner and this is why we are investing heavily in building hybrid cloud capabilities for both private and public cloud. Being a Microsoft Azure Expert MSP partner further enables us to deliver one quality experience with Azure, to free them to focus on achieving their business goals.
