HPE named Worldwide VMware Partner of the Year
On April 10, 2023, VMware recognized its 2023 Partner Achievement Award winners and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) was at the top of the list as “Worldwide VMware Partner of the Year.”
Meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations with high-value, tailored solutions in collaboration with VMware is reward enough, but to be recognized for that collaboration is a real honor.
Let’s take a look at why VMware chose HPE as its partner of the year.
Over 20 years of partnership
The VMware and HPE alliance spans more than 20 years and has more than 200,000 shared customers. Together, we accelerate our customers’ modernization journey with the industry’s most complete portfolio of integrated virtualization, cloud, and mobility solutions designed to work cohesively in hybrid cloud environments.
Over the past year, the companies added two new major innovations to that portfolio—HPE GreenLake for VMware and the HPE ProLiant with VMware vSphere® Distributed Services Engine™.
Hybrid cloud integration
HPE GreenLake for VMware brings together the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform and VMware Cloud to deliver a fully integrated solution with a simple pay-as-you-go hybrid cloud consumption model.
VMware Cloud can be fully integrated across the HPE compute portfolio and HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise and deployed on-premises, in colocation facilities, or at the edge—all managed within the HPE GreenLake platform. Customers also have the flexibility to bring their own licenses to their HPE GreenLake for VMware environment.
Modernizing cloud infrastructure
The second HPE and VMware innovation is the HPE ProLiant with VMware vSphere Distributed Services Engine modernizing cloud infrastructure with the next evolution in virtualized architecture. Using data processing unit (DPU) technology as a control fabric, the Distributed Services Engine offloads infrastructure services like networking, security, and storage from CPUs to securely orchestrate virtualized workloads and improve application performance.
HPE ProLiant with vSphere Distributed Services Engine is a cost-effective, customizable, and trusted fit for any organization looking to boost its workload performance and improve its security architecture.
Defining the future
The HPE and VMware strategic alliance continues to define the enterprise architecture of the next decade. We are dedicated to helping customers modernize from the edge to the core and to the cloud, tackle IT complexity, innovate with AI, and manage business-critical workloads—wherever they reside.
Partnership is powerful and the collaboration between Hewlett Packard Enterprise and VMware is stronger than ever. Thank you to VMware for the recognition and we look forward to a bright future of collaboration and innovation.
