NEW: Packaged service for HPE Migration for Windows Server Modernization
Even though end of service (EOS) for Windows Server 2008 was in January of 2020, not all of your customers have taken advantage of the opportunity to upgrade to Windows Server 2019. A new services from HPE Advisory and Professional Services (AP&S) may be just what these customers need to help them make the move.
HPE AP&S recently expanded its Application Migration and Modernization Practice service portfolio to include a fixed-price, fixed-deliverable packaged version of the HPE Migration for Windows Server Modernization service. Itโs designed to help customers update and migrate current Windows workloads to public or hybrid cloud environments.
HPE Migration Service for Windows Server Modernization provides a simple and straightforward way for customers to engage HPE experts in migrating workloads to a new hardware, virtualization, cloud, or container destination. The packaged service provides quick assessment to determine migration eligibility and develop a migration plan and timeline for an environment of up to 250 server instances and up to 50 workloads, with testing and validation that the workloads were successfully migrated. While itโs ideal for small to midsized environments, larger customers may also benefit from using the service as a pilot for a much larger migration or transformation project.
When you talk to your customers, be sure to emphasize the benefits of this service:
- Simplify budgeting with a fixed-price, fixed-deliverable service.
- Accelerate migration with a factory approach that shortens the time required and streamlines resource requirements.
- Reduce risks with our emphasis on project and transition governance, defining and assigning clear roles and responsibilities, and helping maximize business continuity and management of change.
- Smooth the transition to operation with the included knowledge-transfer session.
Even better, the HPE Migration for Windows Server Modernization packaged service is easy to order with a single SKU (HT3C9A1 HPE Migration for Windows Server Modernization Packaged Service). Note that the availability of service features and service levels may vary according to local resources and may be restricted to eligible products and geographic locations.
