Run Azure services anywhere with less guesswork
Karl Foose, Cloud Hardware Architect and Lead Program Manager, HPE
HPE Azure Stack HCI Integrated Systems offer a choice of ready-to-go solutions you can run on-premises or at the edge with unified control of Azure servers
There’s been a lot of talk lately about digital transformation, but ultimately, the goal is to do more with less. This means simplifying IT, streamlining the data center, and extending compute capabilities across your enterprise while giving developers the power to create the innovative applications and services that your customers want, and your workers require to excel at their jobs.
With that in mind, digital transformation initiatives center around refreshing aging virtualization hosts, ramping up capabilities in edge locations and remote offices, taking advantage of hybrid cloud capabilities, and running both legacy and evolving workloads with optimized performance.
HPE Azure Stack HCI Integrated Systems transform your operations by providing a cloud experience and operating model for applications and workloads close to where the data lives. Whether you’re running workloads on-premises, at the edge, or in the Azure Cloud, these systems help you reduce time to value, contain virtualization and data transfer costs, increase security, streamline development, and simplify management for Azure services everywhere.
Azure Stack HCI is a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) that hosts virtualized Windows and Linux workloads in a hybrid environment that combines on-premises infrastructure with Azure Cloud services. It enables IT organizations to provide the agility and scalability benefits of Azure public cloud with the control, performance, and security you expect from on-premises, collocated, or edge deployments.
Now, you can run workloads on-premises, at the edge, or in Azure Cloud while leveraging familiar Azure tools and services with an integrated system that takes the guesswork out of Azure Stack HCI deployment. These optimized, validated, and integrated HPE Azure Stack HCI systems are Azure Arc-enabled and co-engineered by product teams from HPE and Microsoft. They’re built on up to sixteen HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 nodes and your choice of storage and networking options. They provide consistency with Microsoft Azure public cloud services, meaning you can leverage Azure services used in the public cloud for your on-premises data, such as Defender, Monitor, Sentinel, Kubernetes, and more.
Bring powerful capabilities to the edge
Use HPE Azure Stack HCI Integrated Systems to run virtual applications and workloads in a highly available, resilient fashion on hardware designed for branch office and edge scenarios. This allows you to harness the power of consistent hybrid cloud technology to enable aggregated analytics and enhanced decision-making closer to where the data is created, avoiding bandwidth constraints, high data transfer fees, and cloud latencies. You can even run applications at the edge if you are temporarily disconnected from your data center.
Empower modern application development
HPE Azure Stack HCI Integrated Systems accelerate DevOps with the ability to deploy applications to owned infrastructure or Azure Cloud with a consistent set of tools. Developers can maximize productivity using a write-once, deploy to Azure Cloud or Azure Stack HCI approach, using APIs that are identical between the two. The solution provides control over the physical location and reallocation of capacity with just a few clicks, in addition to seamless workload migration across Azure Stack HCI and Azure Cloud to meet changing business needs.
Deliver performance for demanding applications
Support data-intensive, large-capacity analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads such as generative AI, computer vision, and natural language processing. The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 delivers exceptional performance, expandability, and scalability for diverse workloads and environments at 1P economics. Plus, it supports next-generation NVIDIA GPUs to power today’s AI, machine learning (ML), deep learning, simulation, and analytics workloads with capabilities for GPU virtualization. Running these applications on-premises or at the edge through Azure Stack HCI gives you the benefit of higher performance, lower latency, and faster decision-making capabilities.
Maintain data sovereignty, security, and compliance
HPE Azure Stack HCI Integrated Systems address the concerns of global deployments by enabling you to host different instances of the same application to Azure or Azure Stack HCI. You can deploy applications in different countries while meeting data sovereignty requirements and keeping personal data within the country’s borders. HPE ProLiant servers are engineered with a fundamental security approach and an uncompromising focus on state-of-the-art security innovations. These innovations protect your infrastructure, workloads, and data from threats to hardware and risks from third-party software with a trusted edge-to-cloud security posture built on an HPE compute core that’s hardened through a proven zero trust approach to security.
Unify and simplify management
HPE Azure Stack HCI Integrated Systems offer the architectural flexibility to optimize costs and meet service level agreements (SLAs) with the ability to run virtualized and cloud-native applications at cloud scale using a single management model. You can use the same management and automation services to access Azure Cloud and Azure HCI services from a single console, enabling IT to provide a single vendor experience for the entire Azure Stack HCI environment with HPE infrastructure.
Consume as a service with the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform
You can choose HPE GreenLake for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI to enhance speed and agility, off-load the burden of operating IT, and pay only for the resources you consume. With HPE GreenLake for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI, there are no multiyear agreement requirements for licensing and no upfront commitment for Azure subscription purchases. You work with a single partner who can deploy, license, advise, manage, and support your entire Azure estate.
Better together keeps getting better
Together, HPE and Microsoft can help you unleash the power of your data, igniting innovation with hybrid cloud and redefining experiences at the edge. Our alliance combines a joint partner ecosystem, strong portfolio of products and solutions, and HPE services expertise to solve your biggest challenges. We have more than 4,000 HPE experts trained on Azure and hybrid cloud with a global reach across 135 countries and 43 languages.
