Take the initiative to network with HPE at MWC 2025
HPE will once again be at Mobile World Congress 2025, starting March 3 in Barcelona, Spain, in the Fira Gran Via convention center. HPE is setting up in Hall 3, Booth 3N10, and has already published info on its presence at the event this year.
The event itself is expected to attract over 100,000 attendees, and has become a lot more than just a big annual event about mobile phones. Themes being explored include 5G/6G, IoT, AI, edge and cloud computing, and related topics on networking. There are industry-specific sessions on the agenda and you should expect to see cool tech like autonomous helicopters (eVTOLs) on display by some of the 2,700 exhibitors, across the 2.4 million square feet of expo space.
The opening keynote is expected to include mention of the GSMA Open Gateway initiative. This is a mobile network open API standard, intended to accelerate the development of services across mobile networks around the world, for billions of connected devices and users.

The HPE Hybrid Cloud team develops cloud-connected data storage management products and solutions used for telco network and datacenter workloads, providing high performance and on-prem security. A product we’re featuring is the HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000, which provides top performance and 100% availability guaranteed for critical telco workloads.
Addressing Telecom Challenges with HPE
HPE hybrid cloud offerings enable valuable telco solutions in a number of ways – here are relevant products for the industry:
- HPE Private Cloud AI – HPE Private Cloud AI is a full-stack private cloud infrastructure offering that simplifies the management of fragmented technologies and accelerates time to value for AI initiatives. This turnkey solution is designed to harness data for real-time insights and automation. HPE Private Cloud AI enables many telco applications including edge computer vision, network anomaly detection, chatbots for customer service, and customer retention support.
- HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 – This offering delivers mission-critical data storage at midrange economics with the industry’s only disaggregated, scale-out block storage with a 100% availability guarantee. This unique block storage offering brings an on-premises cloud experience, efficient scale, and extreme resiliency and performance to mission-critical workloads.
- HPE Alletra Storage Servers 4000 – These server-based systems are built for data-intense applications: Ultra-dense, all-NVMe, and hybrid-NVMe with an ideal balance of data capacity, throughput, and processing power. The rack-mounted systems are easy to service, and are future ready with Enterprise and Data Center Standard Form Factor (EDSFF) NVMe, PCIe Gen 5, 5th Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, and DDR5 memory secured end-to-end by design.
- HPE Zerto for managed service providers – HPE Zerto serves this industry by protecting data with near-zero data loss and a downtime of just minutes, in a cost effective way. Additionally, it offers advanced data protection features, such as continuous data replication and automated failover, which help minimize the risk of data loss and downtime. By leveraging HPE Zerto, telcos can improve customer satisfaction, and reduce the total cost of ownership for their IT infrastructure.
