Windows Server 2019 OEM licenses now available from HPE!
Windows Server 2019 OEM licenses are now available from HPE to pair with new HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers, storage and networking offerings. By pairing Windows Server 2019 OEM licenses with HPE hardware, you give your customers a complete solution with licensing that offers many advantages over other licensing types. HPE OEM Windows Server licenses are affordable, customized for HPE ProLiant servers, and include 90 days of free HPE setup support.
Windows Server 2008 End of Support (EoS) is quickly approaching and customers still running Windows Server 2008 need to migrate to a newer, supported, generation of Windows Server! Set them up for success with a complete server solution that includes Windows Server 2019, the operating system that bridges on-premises and the cloud, running on HPE ProLiant Gen10 Servers. Help your customers maximize their existing investments and eliminate the need to build custom solutions by extending on-premises to the cloud with new hybrid platform features introduced with Windows Server 2019 such as Storage Migration Service, System Insights, Azure Network Adaptor, and Enhanced AD Authentication.
As with Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 Essentials uses a processor-based licensing model while Windows Server 2019 Standard and Windows Server 2019 Datacenter utilize a core-based licensing model. Don’t forget, Client Access Licenses (CALs) are required for every user or device for Windows Server 2019 Standard and Windows Server 2019 Datacenter (no CALs are required for Windows Server 2019 Essentials). Additional CALs, such as Remote Desktop Service (RDS) CALs may be required for access to advanced functionality.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise sells and delivers OEM Windows Server 2019 licenses in a variety of ways. First, pre-installed configurations are available from our online stores, via our channel partners, and through our direct sales team. For customers choosing do-it-yourself installations, Non-preinstalled factory OEM licenses (also referred to as “drop-in-box” licenses) are available with new HPE servers from our online stores and via our channel partners. Last, but certainly NOT least, HPE Reseller Option Kit (ROK) licenses are available to resellers from HPE authorized distributors. With ROK licenses, resellers can then offer HPE ROK licenses in combination with HPE server systems to end customers to deliver not only the value of the HPE OEM license, but also any additional services and products they may offer.
