The HCI experience for every workload? It's not only possible, it’s in high demand
Hyperconverged solutions are popular in part because they are so simple to manage. Thanks to innovation from HPE, you can now have HCI for every application from the data center to the edge.
It has been just over a year since customers learned about a new model of hyperconverged infrastructure, and the response has been overwhelming. That’s because HPE has reimagined HCI without limitations. Not only do we offer hyper-efficient HPE SimpliVity HCI, which is wonderfully simple and easy-to-use, but in 2019 we also introduced HPE Nimble Storage dHCI, disaggregated HCI which brings the same level of simplicity to more demanding, business-critical workloads.
HPE hyperconverged solutions are popular in part because they simplify infrastructure for every application from the data center to the edge. For a decade, traditional HCI has proven to be a good choice for general purpose applications. Now we’ve stepped in with dHCI which addresses business critical apps and mixed workloads as well. This means customers no longer have to make the difficult decision between hyper-simplicity and business critical resiliency. Compact, all-in-one HCI is an ideal solution at the edge and for general purpose virtualization. Plus – dHCI architectures offer proven resiliency and performance for business-critical workloads in the data center where flexible scaling matters.
HPE has provided the hyperconverged experience for every workload in organizations around the world. I am proud to be able to share these success stories with you.

With the surge in pet ownership and adoption in Australia amid COVID-19 lockdown, PetSure needed to shift employees to a virtual office environment and support remote veterinary care. HPE Nimble Storage dHCI enabled the pet insurance provider to deploy a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solution that can manage unpredictable workload volumes and complex infrastructure needs. The HPE hyperconverged infrastructure also aided in controlling IT costs to support business continuity strategies and avoid financial strain.

The infrastructure manager at Migros Ticaret relies on an HPE SimpliVity-based VDI solution for backup and disaster recovery, but he has also come to appreciate its flexibility and scalability. Like so many other businesses, the European grocery store chain needed to expand remote-working capabilities. “We were initially running 300 virtual desktops and needed to spin up 700 more to give our employees the flexibility to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using HPE SimpliVity, we were able to do so in just 12 minutes.”

HPE SimpliVity offers the individual companies in the High Technologies Industry (HTI) group an ideal infrastructure for their collaborative business requirements. With the migration to HPE SimpliVity, the HTI group has profited not only from improved performance, but also from an IT infrastructure that is easier to manage and prepares them for the future.
These are just a few examples. As Omer Asad explains in this recent article, thanks to HPE innovation, you can now put all your apps on HCI for simplicity, efficiency, and performance.
