Re: Outlook Express
archive.pst and outlook.pst you can do this though outlook by going to the file and export - export to a file personal file folder.Wich might not work sice you dont have a password. Or do a search for theese files
and copy then to your desktop. Uninstall and reinstall outlook. Then find the new files (archive and outlook) and just copy back the orginal files. And all of your emails should be there.

Re: Outlook Express
This section caught my attention:
Uninstalling Outlook Express 5.x
--------------------------------
If you uninstall Outlook Express 5.x and you were previously running
Microsoft Internet Mail and News, you will be able to see only the
messages you received using Internet Mail and News. To view
Outlook Express 5.x messages, you must reinstall Outlook Express 5.x.
If you uninstall Outlook Express 5.x and you were previously
running Outlook Express 4.x, you can view your Outlook Express 5.x
messages in version 4.x by carrying out the following steps:
1. On the File menu in Outlook Express, click Import, and then click Messages.
2. In the list of programs, click Microsoft Outlook Express 5.
3. Follow the instructions on your screen.
Maybe this would help if not do a total uninstall (more info on the read me file) of IE. Redownload the latest version.
Hope you have a fast connection. To get your emails maybe you should try another pop3 type of email so you dont loose any more bussiness.
YOu can read pop3 though hotmail or you could use outlook 2000.
Let me know if this helps.

Re: Outlook Express
Hey by the way - In the Identity Login box there is a remove identity button. Do you know what will happen if I remove my main identity?

A work around for this problem might be to create a new identy (if you are even to a point within OE that it will let you do that). Configure this identity with the same information that was in your old identity.
Once you do that, you could always try to import your email from the old identity and see what happens.

Re: Outlook Express
Hey Richard, I did uninstall and reinstall Int Exp successfully, and although it did move the icon on my desktop, it still has that same old Identity Login Box when I open it. I just have to figure out how to get this out of my puter.

Re: Outlook Express
Maybe I should save all my files to disk except Outlook and run my HP recovery. What do you think?

Re: Outlook Express
So back your stuff up and run the recovery.
And lets see if that gets you going.
Good luck.

Re: Outlook Express
I am going to think on this for tonight. If I run recovery, I don't know what will happen. While I was uninstalled I could not get back on here even.
I think I will try to uninstall Outlook Exp since it is separate from Int Exp. on the Add/Remove program list. I may have to uninstall both at the same time in order to get it off my puter.
Thanks buddy for all your help. I will try to get back to you if I don't really mess things up. But I do have an HP warrenty, so all is not lost.
