What's your setup?

Do you log on to the domain as part of the 98 bootup process?

What's in between 98 and exchange? Firewall, router, Ocean, .....?

Is this across a dail-up or lan connection?

Re: OWA,Exchange2000

Hi Jon,
win98 client is connecting through https over the internet and gets a login screen with username, passwd and doman, it is not an authentication problem. The problem is that the loginscreen never shows up after accepting the certificat popup screen for the win98 client. Conecting with a windows2000 client is no problem. I know there is some issues with DSproxy using exchange2000 from win98, but this is only concerning the OWA.

Re: OWA,Exchange2000

OK... what version of IE do you have on the 98 systems?

You might try making your domain a trusted site within IE, and see if the mailbox login comes up.

Somewhere I saw mention of the differences in abilities for type of logins between 2000 and 95/98.

I'll try and track it down again.

Hi,
IE 6.0. I think you are on the track about different logins.
