I am using HPE Oneview to manage a fleet of DL Gen 10 servers. I also have 2 c7000 and a few BL Gen10 servers that are in monitor only. Those BL servers wont be retired for a year or more.
I am running Oneview 6.60.04 and want to upgrade to the latest version, 8.x
It looks like I am not able to upgrade because I have the C7000 enclosures in the environment even though they are monitor only.
I am trying to verify, am I stuck on the current OV version until I retire the C7000s? Is there a way to upgrade and still have the C7000 monitored?
THANKS!

SolutionHello,
Oneview 6.60.0x is providing Long Term Support for environments with C7000 enclosures. There are no current plans to have an 8.x (or later) version provide managing or monitoring capabilities for C class servers.
If you wish to use 8.x for your DL servers, there is a migration path from the 6.60.0x OV environment to the 8.x environment. Those servers can be migrated into the new OV appliance(s) and managed or monitored from there.
