Re: VC module keep rebooting

Hi @HatemKotb ,
  1) Check the OA logs. If any logs related to power, Virtual connect and OA are found, please post us.
  2) Did you add a new VC, OA, blade server or any other devices or moved any blade servers to some other bay, if yes, please revert it.
  3) Update the OA, Virtual connect firmware.
  3) There may be issue in some other hardware such as other FC interconnect modules, server blades etc.  Please power off, remove the devices and run again with minimal configuration.

Regards,
Shiva_jr

Re: VC module keep rebooting

  • I did not add or remove any card recentlly, it was working fine until power source disconnected suddenly
  • no logs on OA related to interconnect problem
  • card keep rebooting in a loop
  • these are messages I can see from VC

Re: VC module keep rebooting

We would recommend to get a downtime and then reset the Interconnect module from Onboard administrator. This action will cause the Interconnect module to reset and reboot but will cause traffic outage. Please do take the domain configuration backup before performing this operation. If issue still persists then we recommend you to get a support ticket logged.
