It appears to me that I have no wireless card installed in my brand new notebook that I received today. No broadcom anything. Click the button, nothing. Is there any way to tell if they even installed a wireless card without physically opening up the computer? I know I ordered it with one. Ay help would be great.

Re: No WiFi on NX9500 :-(
I received mine today (a PR040UA) reseller model - no wireless, even though the specs clearly state it's supposed to have it.
My CDW reseller called HP and they told him that the first several hundred batches had a 'manufacturing defect' and no wireless circuitry was installed.
'Defect' is an understatement, now I have to wait 3 more weeks for another and hope they build it with all the components I paid $2500 for.
