Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
I fill in online form in HP saying that I am from Hongkong. They transfer my case to Taiwan and Taiwan technician said updat driver, bios, all shxt things. Lastly, they said they need to seee the labtop becoz of hardware issue. Then they told me to contact Hongkong.
I email to labtop_en@support.com.hp, people from north america reply me that they know my concerns but TX series is not problem in their list. They cannot help anymore. Then they said I should find local HP.
HP really so care their customers. HAHAHAHA what a joke.

Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
I have had cheaper laptops than this one working fine for years, this problem should be fixed by HP without charging anything, they sell this laptop with a hardware flaw. I will be calling support at least to increase the amount of reports on this model.

Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
Symptoms
1. Turn on computer all lights on ok. Hard drive noise & light on for a couple of seconds.
2. The blank screen!
3. Fan running all else ok
(Checked power supply removed battery etc but no joy!)
Like all the rest of us I was shocked to see the common HP Tx1000 problem on this forum thread & the lack of interest from HP technical support.
Anybody else out there with same problem please join this thread to exert pressure for a solution

Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
Called them, they say it looks like motherboard issue. Why does all this problems show up exactly one year after purchase right after warranty expires? Seems like bad way of making money. I had same issue with my Motorola cellphone. It died exactly after its manufacturer warranty expired.
I am doomed and so depressed. I am really worried about my critical data.

Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
It will only take a few months before you will start noticing symptoms of the new motherboard being bad.
They are all bad. They are still replacing them with bad motherboards.
I got a black marker and blacked out the HP name on the cover of my laptop. I don't want anyone to see my HP laptop, and make the bad decision to buy one too.

Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
Even though you went and bought a new computer that was not made by HP to replacy your HP make HP fix your computer anyway. Don't let them get away with it. Wait a little while, and then start bugging them again to make them fix it.

Re: Pavilion TX1000 Wireless Card Vanish !!!
i had talked with the case manager already and i expressed my dissappoinment within our commuication around 30 mins. He repeatedly said that they did not find any other 1 case the same as me in Hongkong. He said if his computer does not shows any record of the problems of wifi and dead. Therefore , he told me that I MUST pay for repairing.
I do wanna to get my HP tx 1000 fixed. But what can i do besides talking to the HP case manager ?
(p.s. I also emailed to the CEO of HP and his secretary answered that my email would be transferred to relevant dept. But after around 2 weeks, i do not get any reply till now.
