B21 disks in D3710 disk chassis.
I need to purchase a few SSD dual port disks for my D3710. I do actually use the dual port functionality as both ends of the SAS chain is plugged into a server (though only one server has the scsi lock at a time), but the availability of the -K21 and -X21 disks is pretty limited, while the -B21 disks are plentiful and cheap.
I see the discussion in the HPE Solid State Disk docs (https://www.hpe.com/psnow/doc/a00001288enw.pdf?jumpid=in_pdp-psnow-qs&ver=50) talk about how the X21 work in all platforms, and I also see where B21 can be replaced with H21 or K21, but why not the other way?
I specifically want to use the P49048-B21 or P49052-B21 disks.
Thanks

Re: B21 disks in D3710 disk chassis.
AFAIK, You may find the same product with multiple SKUs/Part# in the market. You may use the P49048-B21 or P49052-B21 disks & will work perfectly.
I work with HPE but opinions expressed here are mine.
