I have a new P2000 G3 12-disk array and after a power outage this weekend I have one drive showing solid green and amber LEDs, but everything in the SMU shows OK. Solid green + solid amber is not a condition shown in the reference guide so I'm not sure if I actually have a problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Solid green and solid amber LEDs on drive, but OK status in SMU
If the Disk is not a part of any vdisk.
Reseat the disk and verify if the LED Status is the same.
If yes, if you have any empty slot you can verify if the disk has the issue or not.
If yes, contact HP Technical Support for the Proactive Disk Replacement.
Moreover, if disks has issue it should have generated events for the same disks.

SolutionThanks for the feedback. I ended up talking to HP and we powered down the servers, msa, and controllers, then rebooted everything and the amber status went away. All the logs were clean so it appeared to be a false error report.
