How to enable S.M.A.R.T. on SCSI Hard Drive.

Can anyone tell me how to enable S.M.A.R.T. on 80 pin SCSI Hard Drives? I have a couple of them that the S.M.A.R.T. is marked as disabled and would like to enable it.

SMART is normally enabled in the BIOS of the controller. If its Adaptec try pressing Ctrl-A during boot to see if you can access the BIOS, otherwise see if there are any downloadale tools on their website that will enable you to talk to the card.
