The disk light is green but its not visible in the Commandview
Hi All
I have a va7410. In the Master disk array [ conroller unit] I have a disk that is is not visible in the commandview or using the armdsp command. The disk lightis green but its not blinking. I replaced it thinking its a fault. Still the disk has not been identified.
The array status indicates good.
any idea.
Thanks

Please post a

What is the slot of the questionable disk?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Connect to serial port on controller and check disk status, armdsp -d

Re: The disk light is green but its not visible in the Commandview
The serial command is
# vfpdsp -d
or just
# dsp -d
but "armdsp -a" issued from the OS gives much more informaion.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
