use A3703A disks in other enclosure?

Does anyone know if we can use the A3703A SE disks in any other fashion besides an AutoRAID? We have a bunch of 9GB drives that have been replaced via an upgrade and would like to use these on development/test servers if possible, but don't want to spend $10K for an AutoRAID and controller.

No you can't reuse them elsewhere unfortunately. You might want to consider buying an AutoRAID frame from HP Remarketing, that might knock your costs down a little (though $10K sounds a very good price from a UK point of view!)
