There are 2pds on the same cage and mag. 1 is failed and the other one is degraded.
Our tech run the servicemag that looks like the drive (pd102) has been replaced with the new pd 145. I think that caused the degraded status on the new replacement drive pd 145
I have very limited experience with 3par and the asset is no longer under contract with HPE
Not sure what to do at this point. Any help you can provide is very much appreciated

Re: 3Par drive showing degraded after servicemag was run
Hi Cloudcover,
The new pd (145) also showing missing from both loops. It looks failed; could be a faulty spare.
Check the LED status of this PD. Try reseating it.
Once the PD becomes online good, the servicemag resume should kick in automatically.
After servicemag resume completes we can dismiss the old PDs

SolutionHI veeyarvi
Thank you for your advice and we were able to resolve our issue
But we have 1 more issue that i dont have any idea how to interpret and need your expertise pls
We have replaced pdid 29 and after running servicemag, status of 29 is showing degraded missing, not available for allocations (pls see attached pic pesan4.jpg)
From show alert i see an error "disk 5000C57DE6C31C failed (replace drive {0x46}, vacated {0x45}, invalid {0xa2}, inquiry failed {0xa3})" but could not find the disk 5000C57DE6C31C so not able to replace it (pls see attached pesan4 -3.jpg)
If you can pls point me in the direction of how to resolve this, I really very much appreciate
Thank you
Alfredo

Re: 3Par drive showing degraded after servicemag was run
Hi Veeyarvi
We got it fixed, of course with your analysis and help
We just dismissed the degraded as there was already PDID for the same cage and mag
After dismissing, array is healthy with no degraded or failed drive
Again, thanks for your help
