We are getting repitative alert from VV after getting consumed around 75%. Is there a way we can disable the alerts on 3par ?
Ex: Thin provisioned VV XXXXXXVV has reached reserved allocation warning of 400G (80% of 500G)

SolutionHello @Trinadh3,
This must be due to the allocation warning set for the TPVV.
You can do one of these to stop the alerts:
1. Disable the warning. Or
2. Increase the virtual size of VV. Or
3. Increase the allocation warning threshold limit to a higher value (may be 90-95%)
The option is available in SSMC -> select the volume -> Actions -> edit -> enable the advanced options checkbox on the right-hand top -> Make changes in allocation warning field or the size of the VV -> Ok, save the changes.

Hi Trinadh3,
Hope you are doing well.
If you disable the allocation warning alerts, you will not be able to track the capacity usage on the volume.
To answer your question please use the below command to disable the Allocation warning alerts on TPVV
"setvv -usr_aw <Percentage> <Virtual Volume name>".
For example: "setvv -usr_aw 0 <Virtual Volume name>"
