Pd id XX is referenced by chunklet 0:xxxx
Hi community
i have two bad disks in my 3par7200 that i can't remove, reported that there are chucklets assigned.
showpd -s
17 0:17:0 FC failed vacated,notready,invalid_media,multiple_chunklets_media_bad,servicing not_capable
69 1:22:0 FC failed vacated,invalid_media,smart_threshold_exceeded,servicing not_capable
dismisspd 17
Error : Pd id 17 is referenced by chunklet 0:1602
i try to remove the chunklet
movech -perm -ovrd 0:1602
Are you sure you want to move the chunklets?
select q=quit y=yes n=no: y
Move -State- -Detailed_State-
0:1602-72:27 normal normal
And after another chunklet popup
dismisspd 17
Error : Pd id 17 is referenced by chunklet 0:1603
showpd -c 17
How many chuck have disk 17 to move?
How i can remove all chucklet referring to this disk?
Thx in advanced for support
Angelo

Re: Pd id XX is referenced by chunklet 0:xxxx
Hello @Tecniciz,
You can run the command 'showpdch -mov'. That shows the chunklets that have moved, are scheduled to move, or are moving.

Re: Pd id XX is referenced by chunklet 0:xxxx
Hello there,
My exaclty equal problem was solved with a few loop repetition of "dismisspd ID" and "movech -perm -ovrd anotherID:chunklet" such as this example. It works!
Best Regards,
Juliano Flores
