tunesys terminating with an error
Hello
I just recently added 96 new drives to our 3par 7400. Everything was going smooth with drives being admitted and the drives being formatted. However tunesys will not run. When I start it it ends with the following error. Any idea why this is happening?
2025-09-13 14:02:29 PDT Updated *********************************************************
2025-09-13 14:02:29 PDT Updated * Tunesys task (id 2969) has terminated
2025-09-13 14:02:29 PDT Updated * Reason: can't read "availclean": no such variable
2025-09-13 14:02:29 PDT Updated *********************************************************
2025-09-13 14:02:29 PDT Completed scheduled task.

Re: tunesys terminating with an error
Hello!
The error message "can't read "availclean": no such variable" when running tunesys on your 3PAR 7400 indicates a software bug or corrupted internal system state, preventing the system from properly tracking available storage. This is an issue that requires intervention from HPE support. You should immediately open a support case with HPE, providing the exact error log, and refrain from attempting to fix the issue yourself.
