I installed SSMC 3.8.0 using vmwareworkstaton and then upgraded to 3.8.5. But it failed.
it gives the error message : [drm:vmw_kms_check_display_memory [vmwgfx]] *ERROR* Combined ouput size too large。

SolutionHello!
SSMC on VMware-for-workstation is NOT supported. ESXi, or HypeV are the supported platforms.
I found tips on the internet that point to a possible disk-space shortage, or misconfigured graphic memory.
I suggest that you reach out to vmware-for-workstation support.
Hope that helps.
