I have two HP 9000 Servers(9000/800/L3000-7x). On both of them, Attention LEDs are flashing all the time. I look into the rp54xx information CD, It says , this attention ( when Run LED is on and Fault LED is off, but Attention LED is flashing ) mean: тАШ There was a system interruption that did not take the system downтАЭ my question is, what is this interruption and how can I find it and resolve the problem?

Re: Attention LED
Thank ypu for the help.I connect to GSP successfully and find the error. It is related to I/O. Foloowing you will find the error:
ALERT LEVEL: 2 = Non-Urgent operator attention required.
SOURCE: 8 = I/O
SOURCE DETAIL: 5 = I/O device adaptor SOURCEID: 0
PROBLEM DETAIL: 6 = Configuration error
CALLER ACTIVITY: 2 = Config STATUS: 4
CALLER SUBACTIVITY: 00 = implementation dependent
REPORTING ENTITY TYPE: 0 = System firmware
REPORTING ENTITY ID: 00
0x0000002685002004 000000FF FF04FF83 Type0 = Data field unused.
Is there a refrence to find the solution for the problems reported by GSP?
Is it really miss configuration?
Should I configure I/O adaptor?How? Please advice.

Difficult question from the above message.
How well up to date is your server with patches ?
What are you running 11.0 11.11 ?
What is your PDC firmware version (latest 44.12 PDC)

Re: Attention LED
I installed GOLDQPK11i_B.11.11.0412.5.depot and HWEnable11i_B.11.11.0412.5.depot .
My GSP's Revision number of the currently installed firmware is B.02.20.
I have not installed PHSS_30632. I download it and after installation coma back to you.

Re: Attention LED
It is an io device reporting an error. What kind of io devices do you have ?
Check the /var/tombstones/ts99 file, could be it is reporting more information.
Also check the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file for errors.
Start xstm and check if support tool manager is reporting a specific error.
