gsp superdome: cannot access to console in some nPars

Hello,
In superdome console cannot access to some nPars, when put ^cf this nPar don't respond and write [Bumped user - Admin.], after that it does not allow any action except control-b.
I try with control-q and control-s and don't work.
Others nPars work fine.

From the GSP Main Menu, check on the status of those parititions using the VFP. It may be hung or down for some reason. If all else fails in trying to connect (try a ping to the nPar OS as well) you may have to issue an RS from the GSP CM:> to reset the nPar.

I can connect to the vPars in the nPar by telnet, but i cannot connect to them by console, all vpars are working.

Ah, I see now. Sorry, I am not overly familiar with vPars and how the system console would see them listed.

Can you toggle between the consoles using "CTRL a"?

If your current console is busy with a program at this moment (e.g. SAM is started with X output), you cannot see anyting unless the program has finished.
Try to connect (telnet) to the running vPar and find out if anything is running on "console".

control-a doesn´t work, I connected by telnet to vPars and verify if any process run in console. Maybe the cell firmware or vPar software can be out of date??

Hi,
You may have accidentally pressed ctrl S when meaning to press ctrl A.
Pressing ctrl S can make the console appear to of hung.
Try pressing ctrl S again, this releases the console from its apparent hung state (if indeed this is the problem).
