I have replaced faulty System Backplace/Board with newone(A3641-69x02) for Server K570.
As per "README FIRST" handout saying, after replacement boot the system to BCH and Use "ssconfig" to reset the current model string to 9000/800/K570.
But, I am not finding "ssconfig" command in the BCH. Now the server model string is showing as 9000/800/K370.
Is there any way to change this string.
Thanks & Regds,
Rajesh

SolutionThe only solution to change this model string is tu use ssconfig, it is a tools used ONLY by HP tech, it is on tape/cd and it ask for a pass code when launching it. So I think the best is to ask to HP to come and changing it.
Cheers.

Re: How to change the model string.
It's always depend if your model string is
in use by some program or license deamon then
it could be problem if not than it have no
efect on the regular work.
But you should call to HP suport that will change this.
