After power loss my rp2470 is down. Since switch is in on position I tried to start it from GSP with pc command. Normally, it works, but

The system did not respond to the Power-On command.
Turn the system power switch Off and On again to reset the system.

Re: problem with starting rp2470

Hrvoje,

although there is firmware C.02.14 available, I doubt it would fix it, the firmware text does not mention a similar problem.

Therefore, I guess your only option is to do what you are told: Go to the machine and physically switch off and on.

Re: problem with starting rp2470

I'm having the same issue. Resstting power does not solve anything.Any ideas on how to solve this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: problem with starting rp2470

Hi All,

This is a known issue on these systems. If power is lost suddenly & shortly, it seems to cause problems after it comes back.
Try manually pulling the power for 30-60 seconds & replug back in. Then proceed with normal startup.
I think what happens is the GSP gets confused when the power drops for a *short* time period, but fully resets for a longer outage.

Jeff
