2620 Uplink LED Indicator Question

Hi everyone,

I have a number of 2620-48 switches, and they are operating normally and not displaying or logging any errors.

In Act mode, the 'Mode' LED is solid green, but only for the Uplink ports.  I can't figure out what this means, and the HP documentation isn't helpful.

Any ideas?

Activity, it's just some indicator of traffic load; the installation/setup manual is best for things like LEDs, console port settings etc. Personally I'm not a big fan of showing analogue information like utilization in one LED.

Great, thanks for your response. The manual unfortunately didn't address this specific issue, and HP support merely referred me back to the manual :(
