5406zl unable to set manual IP address
I updated the firmware to K.15.06.0008, and placed the switch on a new network, which required an IP address change.
When setting IP Config to Manual (Default), and putting in the desired Default Gateway, IP Address and Subnet Mask, I get an error message "Unable to create."
When setting the IP config to DHCP/BOOTP, the switch correctly acquires an address from the DHCP server and otherwise works normally.
Any idea what the problem is?

Re: 5406zl unable to set manual IP address
I have reproduced that in the lab upon reading the post. You were in the menu making the setting as that is the only way to make it behave this way. If you use the CLI instead you can get it to take. I kept seeing the rejection in the menu. I used the setup and option and the config/ip addressing. I could see it want to enable routing then allow me to save but still had not the results I wanted. If IP routing was disabled and I enabled it then the switch would allow me to save and exit the menu. The CLI would not show the change. I could go back in and try again but have no success even though the reporting in the menu suggested life was good. Not so. I also used the web interface to change the IP. If you allow the switch to pick up an IP with DHCP and then web into the switch you can change the IP to manual via the web and save the change. Then you just have to reconnect to the switch with the new IP as it drops you from the web connection after the change/save.
At any rate that is a bug in the software for the MENU interface. Open a trouble ticket with the Level 1 team i.e. the Customer Care Center, and they will elevate this to the level 3 team for the lab to fix it. There is no question that this is a bug in the code. Below is the info on the build I tested.

Re: 5406zl unable to set manual IP address
Also have the same problem with K.15.06.0008.
IP-address can be only set via CLI, not via GUI.
