connecting to 2520G Switches using the web interface
hi
i AM NEW TOT HE FIELD OF NETWROKING AND would like to connect tot he 2520G Switch to configure it using the web interface but i a not sure how to obtain the Ip address
clear instruction will be much appreciated

Default the IP is obtained using DHCP, so in case you have DHCP you will find the IP there registered for your Procurve 2520
On the other hand, if you have console cable you can connect it and set the ip address you like

how can i find the the IP there registered for my Procurve 2520?
i connect my procurve to the network? and which port shall i use to connect it?

you can use any port to connect it if the switch is still in factory default settings
If you use console cable, you can use the setup command to configure the IP address
