determine 2910al 10GB thruput
We installed a 10GB module in two switches and want to test thruput between them. How can we test the thruput without using the other 1GB interfaces? We dont want the slowness of writing to flash during a copy from one switch to another to limit the test. Is there something like a built in command or copying from one switch to /dev/null on the other?

I don't think so. You really don't want to go anywhere near the CPU for throughput testing in any case; modern switches are all about hardware offload.
