HP Procurve 2650: Replacement for 1GB/s on every Port
hi
we have here HP Procurve 2650. It's a good switch with 48 Ports but it only provides 10/100MBits Ports.
So we need a similar model with a 48 Ports but with a 1GB/s Connection on every port .
Can s.o. give me tip for a good hp switch.
P.S. This thread has been moevd from Switches, Hubs, Modems (Legacy ITRC forum) to ProCurve / ProVision-Based. - Hp Forum Moderator

Hello, perhaps the Procurve 2810-48G could be suitable for you?

Re: HP Procurve 2650: Replacement for 1GB/s on every Port
2650 switch very good product
2650 switch L3 switch so you can use routing on 2650 switch my advice you can purchase 2848 switch
but you can't routing on netwrok my advice 2510G-48 this model new and very economy other 1Gbps ports switch.
not :
(2810 only L2 switch unable routing and very expensive as per 2510G-switch )

Re: HP Procurve 2650: Replacement for 1GB/s on every Port
We only use the 2650 as a normal switch witch one server on the 1GB-Port and ca. 26 Clients connected to the 10/100Mbit-Ports, which have access to the file-Server.
We don't need Switch-mannagment,Analysis, and all these special stuff.Only a easy an stable 48 port 1GB/s switch

Re: HP Procurve 2650: Replacement for 1GB/s on every Port
if so you can must be purchase 2510G-48 switch
2600 series switch L3 routing switch for routing between vlan
but 2510 series switch unable routing
you can't need routing there for you can purchase 2510
note:
2510G-48 switch agu.2008 EMA price list
2,203$
