I would start with updating the switch to newer firmware (W14.70 is out for quite a while and very stable). Mind the Compact Flash Cleanup!

I believe that is the wrong code as the 2900-48G J9050A has T code and the last is T13.80

@Scooter: Strangely, ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/ has T.13.71 as the highest version number, yet T.13.23 has the newest date stamp.

@DaveAnderson: Regardless of the above, it sounds like a firmware upgrade would be a good idea.
