in 8 port Brocade connect to the serial port and conffigure (see help)
in 16 port brocade use the front display ;-)

I remember there is a default IP address and subnet mask on the brocade switch. I just can't remember it.. I just remember the last three octet on the ip address which is 77.77.77.

the command "configDefault" will set back the switch to the default values.

The ethernet default IP is based upon the WWN. You enter an IP from the switch itself or via telnet.

The default ip address is 10.77.77.77 with 255.0.0.0 as subnetmask.
The FCP has default no ip address.
Use a RS-232 serial cable to connect to the switch to change the ip address (see the Install & Reference Guide for detailed instructions)

Setup using front panel
Note: configDefault command doesn't reset IP address
